Michelle is an actress, singer and producer currently based in New York City. She is the proud daughter of a Taiwanese mother and an Irish-American father. Her multi-cultural background has impacted her world-view since an early age and has given her a unique perspective that has informed her life and work.
Michelle’s pursuit of a career in film and television has led to numerous appearances in high-profile projects including: Instinct (CBS), The OA (Netflix), Limitless (CBS), Allegiance (NBC), Hostages (CBS), Off Duty (NBC), One Life to Live (ABC), Seeds, It’s Complicated (Universal) and Every Little Step (Sony). Michelle’s desire to elevate her craft and her commitment to empowering others to realize their dreams spurred her to organize a weekly ‘On Camera/Audition Prep Class’. The class was originally held in conjunction with her long time mentor/acting coach Charles Tuthill. This class has developed into a collective of professional working actors who have booked distinguished television, film, and theatre gigs. Not only is the group dedicated to improving their craft but they are also working together to create their own opportunities. Recent bookings/projects include Instinct (CBS), Gotham (FOX), Blue Bloods (CBS), Miss You Like Hell (The Public), and Henry VI Part I & II (NAATCO).
Michelle’s early training was in musical theater. There she practiced extensively as a singer, dancer and actor. She has worked in many of the premiere theaters throughout the country including Arena Stage, Kennedy Center, City Center, Lincoln Center, KC Starlight, Fox Theater, Pantages Theatre, Wolftrap, Chicago’s Oriental Theatre and North Shore Music Theatre. She recently finished a successful tour of the Lincoln Center Theater’s Production of The King and I directed by Bartlett Sher.
